| 内容記述 | This study considers the passing on of craft traditions associated with Ojiya-chijimi and Echigo-jōfu . Both are traditional dyed and woven fabrics registered as Important Intangible Cultural Properties by the Japanese Government. The research addresses the significance of transmission of these textiles, and the methodologies for passing of knowledge. My earnest wish is that the ancient and beautiful traditions of Japanese textiles, including those for Ojiya-chijimi and Echigo-jōfu , will be passed on correctly. |
