| 内容記述 | We divide human history into four cultural epochs: 1. The age of native cultures; 2. The age of classical civilizations;3. The age of the modern Western civilization; and 4. The age of the new global civilization. We argue that what classical civilizations accomplished in terms of philosophical exploration should be respected and revived, and that philosophy should be redefined as a way of life as in the ancient era. Dualistic understanding of the world will be replaced with the monistic understanding of the classical civilizations, thus facilitating the awakening of human consciousness. | |||||
