Conder spent his summer vacation, Condorʼs trip to Ikaho and sketches at Ikaho. The following points became clear. Condor went to Ikaho at least in August 1881 and August 1884. We can see 14 sketches that Condor made at Ikaho. The sketches that Condor drew at Ikaho are two inns, Soryu-mon of Haruna Shrine, Tamau-an, the scenery from Shirai, the scenery from Budayuʼs inn, five people, tree, map, and the Rokaku-do of Mizusawa Kannon.
