In this research I aim at the light sources of lanterns and their materials such as the japanese paper,paints,frames in order to utilize my research for production,preservation and restoration of lanterns.I’d like to indicate characteristics of the peculiar aestehtic valuation and modeling rooted in each region and devices by comparing,examining and investigating the history of lanterns with the flow of time and social changes.The festivals perfumed in all over Japan are compounded form various factors,however,we could share information matually by this presentation of my research,and festivals could change.
