<dc:description>Today many people are interested in so-called power spots. However, modern thinking cannot deal with the “power” which is experienced there. It is shown that modern science, which is based on atomism and reductionism, and the sense of the self based on the clear-cut distinction between the self and the world, are some of the reasons of it. In modern age, through the disenchantment of the world, the “porous” sense of the self disappeared, thereby losing the sense of subtle connections between the self and the world. It is argued that the vitalism, along with the holism, should be reevaluated in order to be able to think again about this power of creating the world.</dc:description>
